YORK COUNTY, Pa. —

Three officers are dead and two others were seriously injured after a shooting occurred in York County on Wednesday afternoon.

Our sister station WGAL first reported that officials were called to the scene in the area of Haar Road and Emig Road in North Codorus Township.

Ted Czech, with the York County Office of Emergency Management , told WGAL that dispatchers received the first 911 call at 2:10 p.m. for a police incident.

WGAL later reported that as a result, five officers were shot.
