NATCHITOCHES, La. — The Natchitoches Police Department announced a series of promotions and commendations at a meeting in the Council Chambers on Sept. 16.

The department recognized the following officers:

Justin Hall was promoted to police sergeant.

MiKerra Evans was promoted to police corporal.

Jeffery Franks Jr. was promoted to police corporal.

Sgt. Det. Davanta Stevenson, Cpl. Det. Charles Cassels, and Cpl. Det. Gavin Watson were awarded a Police Commendation.

Officer Jeff Linger was given the Life Saving Award.

The Natchitoches Police Department also thanked the officers for their dedication to the city's residents.
