ANN ARBOR, MI – Ann Arbor Public Schools is bracing for another increase in costs for employee healthcare just a year after a spike impacting teachers spurred an outpour of concern and support from the district community.
Superintendent Jazz Parks told Ann Arbor School Board members that the district had been notified of the looming change during a meeting Wednesday, Sept. 17. Although she did not put a number to the expected increase, she said it was a challenge shared with districts nationwide.
