For one animal chiropractor in the suburbs of Chicago, receiving a text message at 2 a.m. from an unknown number was just what the doctor ordered.

Dr. Daniel Kamen, retired chiropractor of both humans and animals, was reunited Tuesday with his dark brown Samsonite briefcase he inadvertently sold the briefcase in July for just $10 at Wolff's Flea Market in Rosemont after a two-month hunt.

The briefcase is sentimental to Kamen as it was the surface on which he performed his first adjustment on a dog in 1980 at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Kamen said he was immediately struck with sellers' remorse and decided to try to find the young man he sold it to in an attempt to buy it back at a higher price.
