Search and rescue crews — including some from New Mexico — have been searching for a pair of young men who went missing several days ago while on a hunting trip on U.S. Forest Service land in southern Colorado.

Andrew Porter and Ian Stasko, both 25, went missing during an elk hunting trip in the Rio Grande National Forest in Conejo County, Colo., according to statements released on social media by Porter's fiancée, Bridget Murphy. The two were hunting in Game Management Unit 81.

Porter is from Asheville, N.C., and Stasko is from Salt Lake City; they have been described as experienced hunters and outdoorsmen.
