SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) - According to the Sullivan City Police Department a man was arrested for dealing meth following a traffic stop.
According to the police, an officer pulled over John Arthur Jr. after he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Section Street and County Road 200 North. Police say Arthur failed field sobriety tests and admitted there were illegal substances in the vehicle.
Police say they found 30 grams of suspected meth and items commonly used for distributing drugs. They also say they found a "sawed-off" shotgun.
Arthur faces charges of Dealing Meth, Possession of Meth, and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, among other charges.
