GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCSC) - The Goose Creek Police Department responded to a reported shooting inside a store Wednesday evening.

Chief LJ Roscoe said they received a call that someone had been shot inside the Walmart on St. James Avenue. Police did a full sweep inside and outside and cleared the building.

The store has since reopened, but officers believe it was a hoax call. It is unclear if any injuries have been reported.
