Perth Amboy Magnet defeats Edison Magnet in NJTAC Groups 1 & 2 first round

Perth Amboy, the 13-seed, defeated fourth-seeded Edison Magnet 3-0 in the NJTAC Groups 1 & 2 first round in Edison.

Perth Amboy Magnet (2-4) will face the winner of the fifth-seeded West Caldwell Tech/12th-seeded Sussex Tech matchup in the quarterfinals on Sept. 29.

Jenesis Sanchez made seven saves for Edison Magnet (2-3).
