SAN JOSE, Calif. —
After a historic inaugural season full of first, the Valkyries are adding another first to the list with their first ever home playoff game. It also happens to be the first time the team is playing at SAP Center in San Jose.
The venue change came because of a scheduling conflict at Chase Center with the Lavar cup.
Wednesday night's game is the second in a best-of-three game series for the the first round of the WNBA playoffs. The first game was played in Minnesota where the Valkyries fell to the Lynx 101-72.
If the Valkyries win game two, they'll force a third game back in Minnesota. A loss on Wednesday night would end the Valkyries' first season.
