CHEYENNE — The script from the weekend looked like it was in danger of repeating itself Wednesday night when Cheyenne East faced off against Cheyenne Central.
On Saturday, East held a 2-1 advantage over Campbell County before seeing that lead erased and dropping the Thunderbirds to 0-2 in Class 4A East Conference play.
But after trailing by four on three separate occasions in the set, East came alive to flip the script. The T-Birds outscored central 13-6 over the back half of the fourth set to pick up a 25-21, 21-25, 25-17, 25-19 win over its crosstown foe.
