KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police continue to respond to a fatal shooting just north of Prospect Plaza Park.

The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that around 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, emergency crews were called to the area of 10th and Prospect with reports of a fatal shooting.

When first responders arrived, they said they found at least one person who was pronounced deceased as a result of a gunshot wound.

No further information has been released as investigators continue to respond to the scene.
