SANDY, Utah (ABC4 Sports) - Just 13 months after breaking ground, the Utah Mammoth's brand new state-of-the-art practice facility was officially opened on Wednesday, one day before training camp was set to begin.

It isn't quite finished yet, but the facility was officially christened by a ceremonial goal by captain Clayton Keller.

"That's the most nervous I've been to shoot on an empty net ever," Keller said with a smile.

This 146,000 square foot building will be the home to the Mammoth, complete with two ice sheets, a weight room, hot tubs, lounging area and beautiful locker rooms.
