ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – They're behind some of Albuquerque's most iconic restaurants, and now they will get a big honor later this month. Larry and Dorothy Rainosek, the founders of the Frontier Restaurant and Golden Pride, will receive the lifetime achievement award at the New Mexico Restaurant Association's Hospitality Industry Awards.

Frontier has operated near the University of New Mexico since 1971, and Golden Pride remains a popular place for fried chicken, burritos, and sweet rolls.
