BELLEVUE, Wash. — After seven weeks on the run, the suspect in a deadly robbery in Bellevue’s Eastgate neighborhood has been arrested.
Samuel Hitchcock, 28, was arrested in Portland on Sept. 17, according to a Bellevue Police Department blotter post . The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Hitchcock with first-degree murder on Aug. 22 while he was still on the run.
"We weren't going to stop trying to locate him," said Captain Landon Barnwell with the Bellevue Police Department. "So we knew it was a matter of time before we really find out where he's at and get him into custody."
Hitchcock is jailed at the Multnomah County Detention Center.
On July 29, Hitchcock was reportedly drinking with 54-year-old Jason David Clark near the Sunset Corporate Campus when a fight
