An unknown person fatally shot three police officers and wounded two more Wednesday afternoon in York County, according to Pennsylvania State Police Col. Christopher Paris.

There is no active threat to the community, according to Paris, and the shooter was killed by law enforcement.

Law enforcement officers were at a property in North Codorus Township where the shootings occurred to follow up on a “domestic-related” investigation that began Tuesday, Paris said. He stated during the press conference that police are not releasing more details because they are obtaining and serving more search warrants.
