As more West Australians switch to electric, Swedish EV brand Polestar has charged into Perth, with its first dedicated showroom now open in Osborne Park.

The new showroom, which opened last Saturday on Scarborough Beach Road, is a large gallery-style space showcasing the Polestar line-up: the Polestar 2 liftback, Polestar 3 luxury SUV, and Polestar 4 coupe-SUV.

Polestar’s arrival coincides with a boom in battery electric vehicles on WA roads, increasing from 3932 at the end of June 2022 to 30,836 by June 2025.

Of the 67,899 cars West Australians bought in the first six months of 2025, 5138 (7.6 per cent) were electric vehicles.

The showroom was brought to the State by family-owned automotive dealership Barbagallo.
