A Nassau County police officer accused of stealing $200,000 from a fellow officer and spending the money on a new vehicle, gambling, dining, and an OnlyFans account was charged with second-degree grand larceny on Wednesday, Suffolk District Attorney Ray Tierney said in a news release.

Leonard Cagno of Oakdale solicited the money from the other Nassau County police officer, who was recovering from a serious illness, between February 2024 and June 2024, telling him it would be an investment in Cagno’s company, BW Media Consulting, LLC, Suffolk prosecutors said.

Cagno, 39, instead used the money to pay for his own personal expenses, which also included housing payments and credit card bills, according to Tierney’s office. The $200,000 was gone two months after Cagno received it.
