Restaurants Roll Out Discounts and Freebies for September 18

National Cheeseburger Day is ready to bring plenty of deals and one plant-based twist, with major restaurant chains and local favorites offering special promotions across Los Angeles and beyond.

Applebee’s is marking the Sept. 18 holiday by offering any Classic Cheeseburger — including the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger or Classic Burger — served with fries for $8.99 , a discount from the usual price of $12.99 or more.

Burger King is stretching the celebration into a weeklong event for Royal Perks members, who can claim free menu items with any purchase of $1 or more. The daily giveaways include:

Monday, Sept. 15: free hamburger

Tuesday: free Cini Minis

Wednesday: free Croissan’wich
