FOXBOROUGH - Drake Maye had arguably his best game as a pro against the Miami Dolphins.

He played a near perfect game. And with that performance, the Patriots quarterback injected a measure of hope that the 2025 season would prove different from the last two disasters.

Maye, who completed 19 of 23 passes for 230 with two touchdowns, was that good in the 33-27 win over the Fins.

While it’s certainly a promising development, it’s just one game. And for Maye, it came on the heels of an effort against the Las Vegas Raiders that sparked more concern than praise.

What will it be against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday?
