City Planning Commission recommends new mixed-use development guidelines

Frederick’s Planning Commission is recommending a change to rules for the construction of mixed-use developments in the city.

The commission’s recommendation will include keeping a rule on how the city issues building permits. Currently, at least 25% of the non-residential floor area has to be built before the city issues more than 75% of the building permits for non-residential units.
