Is Canvas Stadium becoming a fortress?

That’s maybe too strong a word to use yet, but the trend line is encouraging both in environment and on-field success for the Colorado State football team.

Continuing that trend would set for a successful 2025.

“I told our football team I don’t want to lose in this stadium,” CSU coach Jay Norvell said. “That’s the mentality. When we come home to play, we want to win in front of our fans.”

Because of a scheduling mentality shift, CSU leadership is now aiming to play seven home games a season.

This is the second consecutive seven-game home slate.

It swings the math. Win at home and steal a couple on the road and a big season can be in store.

And CSU has finally erased a home malaise.
