TRACY, Calif. —

A 65-year-old Tracy man has been arrested and is facing charges related to the possession of child sexual abuse material and the sexual abuse of animals.

Larry Gustafson was arrested on Sept. 10 after a community member's tip led to an investigation, police said.

Police obtained search warrants for electronic devices and the investigation found evidence of “egregious acts” involving the exploitation of minors and animals.

Gustafson was booked on charges that include possession of child sexual abuse material involving a minor under the age of 12, willful cruelty of an animal, sexual contact with an animal, and unlawful possession of an assault weapon.
