ATLANTA — A Georgia Senate committee studying the impact of AI and social media on children will meet Wednesday morning.

The meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Georgia Capitol in Atlanta. The committee is called the "Impact of Social Media and Artificial Intelligence on Children and Platform Privacy Protection Study Committee." Their meeting will stream here .

According to their meeting agenda, they will focus Wednesday on "state level policy solutions" with a presentation titled "Minimum Design Standards for Online Space, Age Limits and Device Level Age Verification."

Speakers will include Casey Stefanski of the Digital Childhood Alliance, Center for Humane Technology lead policy researcher Pete Furlong, and Ravi Iyer of the University of Southern California and a researcher
