GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Another day of sunshine and gorgeous conditions are in store for the western slope! It’s the last official weekend of summer, and while some chances for showers may be around tomorrow evening, it’s going to be a wonderful way to wrap up the season. Temperatures are expected to reach the low eighties in Grand Junction while Montrose stays very consistently in the seventies. Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with overnight lows reaching the mid-fifties. It has been a very consistent week of temperatures so far, and that trend is expected to continue. Pleasant and dry conditions return Thursday with temperatures near normal and mostly sunny skies. Non zero chances for some showers return Friday for our southern mountains, spreading northward over the mountains
