BOSTON —
A woman accused of pushing an older passenger off an MBTA bus in Boston is scheduled to face charges Thursday.
The incident happened on Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. aboard the 28 Bus in Roxbury at the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard/Warren Street stop.
Video from on the bus and nearby surveillance video showed the assault, where the woman was pushed off the bus, landing face-first onto the sidewalk.
The suspect also threw the victim's shopping cart off the bus. She was later seen leaving the bus through a door with a stroller in tow.
Bystanders, including the bus driver, at times, stood over the victim before paramedics arrived to render aid 20 minutes later.
Police have not released the suspect's identity.
