EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (First Alert 4) - Police are investigating what is believed to be a murder in East St. Louis on Thursday morning.

First Alert 4 spoke with a neighbor near the scene, which is on Missouri Avenue, who said that officers told her it was a murder investigation.

The neighbor told First Alert 4 that one person was found dead inside an abandoned apartment building, and another person was found stabbed across the street.

The neighbor also told us there was a third person involved.

Police have not provided any information to our crew on scene.

First Alert 4 will provide updates once new information becomes available.
