During a Sept. 17 appearance on Good Morning America , Twilight author Stephenie Meyer teased that there were eventual plans to tell more of Bella and Edward's story

"I have other stories outlined," she said, promising that her outlines would eventually be released if she never got the chance to write them

The author also explained that she would refresh her original four books if given the chance, since she thinks that she is "a better writer now" than she was 20 years ago

It's been 17 years since author Stephenie Meyer concluded her original Twilight saga with the fourth book, Breaking Dawn . However, she does see a future for star-crossed lovers Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.
