One of the new professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing has said the launch show this Saturday will be "epic" and feature an underwater sequence. American ballroom dancer Alexis Warr has previously won the US version of the show, So You Think You Can Dance, but said it was "unreal" to now be competing in the original.
"It's just been a complete dream, I'm constantly pinching myself," she told BBC Breakfast. Asked if she had known the 15 celebrities taking part in the new series opposite the professional dancers, Warr said: "I've been working on my British culture.
"I didn't know a lot of them, but then looked them up obviously, and it is an amazing line-up. They are so incredible, such great personalities, andc to see how they do on the show."
