Camas High School basketball star Ethan Harris has committed to play for the University of Iowa.

The 6-foot-8 senior announced his decision on social media last week. The Columbian All-Region player of the year had narrowed his college choices down to four — Iowa, Washington, Gonzaga and Boise State.

Harris is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 1 recruit in Washington for the Class of 2026. The four-star prospect is ranked No. 94 nationally among all positions.

Harris averaged 18.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, three assists, and nearly three steals and blocks per game last season. Camas’ sixth-place finish at March’s Class 4A state tournament matched the program’s best state finish from 2023.
