Robin Wright has offered a glimpse into her “tranquil” new life in the UK , revealing she left the US behind in the wake of growing concerns over its “troubled” state.

The Golden Globe winner, 59, detailed her new life across the pond during an appearance on The View , sharing that she’s called the UK home for “almost three years.”

“All of the American productions I have done in the last three years have shot in England because of the tax break,” the “House of Cards” alum said. “It’s better than anywhere in Canada.” 5

The Texas-born, California-raised star said her projects have been “back to back to back” — prompting her to set up permanent camp in England.

“I’m troubled, like many of us are, about this state of our country,” she went on, adding that she “ended up loving”
