An Oakland County state lawmaker wants to ban pornography in Michigan.

State Representative Josh Schriver has introduced the “Anticorruption of Public Morals Act,” which would ban the distribution of sexual acts from real to written. Schriver says it would be up to judges to interpret exactly what wouldn’t be allowed.

“I ntent to arouse,” Schriver said. “S o that would be something that would be left up to our judicial system to interpret. But this is really to get all of the material that is most widely accessed, that’s most widely perpetuated on our culture, off the internet. And so this is a way to take a step in that direction.”
