A BRAND new streaming service has launched for kids filled with much-loved shows - and it's completely free.

Book publishing giant Scholastic is bringing around 400 hours worth of classic hits from its back catalogue to screens.

Huge titles such as Clifford the Big Red Dog, Magic School Bus and Goosebumps will appear on the Scholastic app.

Viewers will also find Garfield and Barney & Friends, as well as Clifford’s Really Big Movie, The Baby-Sitters Club and forgotten 90s gems like Animorphs.

The streaming service is geared towards those aged 12 and under - though some adults who grew up watching these shows will no doubt want to watch too.

It'll be funded by advertising.

For now, the app is available on Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices like the Fire Stick.
