SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - An informational meeting for those interested in becoming an Auxiliary Officer will be hosted by the Shreveport Police Department Auxiliary.

Interested individuals can learn more about the SPD's Auxiliary Program, including the qualifications needed and the duties Auxiliary Officers serve in the community.

The meeting will take place on Saturday, October 4, at 10 a.m. at the City Marshal Training Center, 1412 Peabody St. in Shreveport.
