LICKING COUNTY, Ohio — A man was killed and another person was injured following a head-on crash in Licking County Wednesday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on state Route 586 at milepost 6 around 3:25 p.m.
According to OSHP, the driver of a 2012 Ford F-150 was heading northbound on state Route 586 when he traveled off the right side of the road and drove left of center. The pickup truck then struck a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado head-on.
The driver of the Silverado, identified as 28-year-old Zachary Minosky, was taken to Licking Memorial Hospital where he later died.
The driver of the F-150 was also taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
