Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn has filed an amended ordinance calling for a ban on using mopeds and electric bicycles for third-party food delivery in the city, labeling them a risk to public safety.

Officials claim there are almost daily reports of delivery bikes riding recklessly, including traveling over 20 mph the wrong way down the street, on sidewalks, and running stop signs and red lights, according to a press released from Flynn's office.
