OWENDALE, MI — Law enforcement in Huron County are searching for a missing and possibly endangered man.

About 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, the brother of 36-year-old Raymond J. Babbitt reported him missing to sheriff’s deputies. Babbitt had been living with his brother in Owendale for about two months, according to Sheriff Kelly J. Hanson.

Hanson said Babbitt had been dealing with depression and his family is concerned he could be a danger to himself.

Babbitt is believed to have left on foot and does not have a vehicle. He also left his cellphone behind, Hanson said.
