BARABOO, Wis. — A Sauk County court determined Thursday that there is probable cause to charge 23-year-old Brandon Bent with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of a woman found at a Lake Delton home in July. The court also accepted Bent's waiver of a preliminary hearing.

Brandon Bent is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and misdemeanor bail jumping, with charges carrying domestic abuse modifiers. The charges stem from a case in which a woman was found dead at a home in the 300 block of Canyon Road on July 4.

During an initial court appearance on July 11, Bent's bond was set at $1 million.

As a condition of his bond, Bent cannot leave Wisconsin except in the custody of United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Prosecutors said Bent is not a lawful U.S. r
