So, good thing author and showrunner Jenny Han confirmed that after the Prime Video series—starring Lola Tung , Chris Briney and Gavin Casalegno— wrapped Sept. 17, fans will get insight into a huge moment in Belly (Lola) and Conrad’s (Chris) love story in the upcoming film, which was confirmed hours after the finale premiered.

“There is another big milestone for Belly,” Jenny teased during an appearance alongside the show’s stars on Today Sept. 18. “So we’ll continue along with that journey.”
