ABC ‘s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel , following a threat from the FCC chairman over the late night host’s remark about the suspected killer of Charlie Kirk , dominated cable news talk throughout Wednesday evening and into Thursday morning.

One place where the sidelining of Kimmel went unmentioned was on ABC’s The View , where the co-hosts engage in discussion of the hot topics of the day. Instead, they started off by chatting about another big news story, FBI Director Kash Patel’s congressional testimony, and then went on to commentary about Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr.
