Lulu and her family have also come together to launch the Lulu Strong Foundation, which will work to improve the lives of other amputees and those with limb differences

Before her attack, Lulu Gribbin was, by all accounts, a very normal teenage girl.

She enjoyed spending time with her twin sister, Ellie, and could frequently be found in the gym practicing volleyball or traveling for games. She liked spending time with her mom on the weekend
