Friday’s game against the Kansas City Royals was scheduled to be broadcast exclusively on the Apple TV+ streaming service as part of the streaming service’s ongoing agreement with Major League Baseball . It was to be the fifth and final game streamed by Apple TV+ service.

But some Jays fans, who wouldn’t be able to stream the game, were upset because Toronto could clinch a playoff berth on Friday. The magic number for the Jays to clinch a post-season spot is three heading into Thursday afternoon’s games.
