US President Donald Trump hailed America’s “unbreakable bond” with Britain on Thursday as he and Prime Minister Keir Starmer signed a landmark technology deal, strengthening cooperation in artificial intelligence, quantum computing and nuclear energy.
At the signing ceremony, attended by leading US tech CEOs, Starmer said he and Trump were “leaders who genuinely like each other.” The agreement comes alongside £150 billion ($205 billion) of investment pledges from American giants including Microsoft, Google and Blackstone.
