ROCKFORD, Ill. — A busy street in an East Rockford neighborhood is the next area scheduled to be worked on.

Pavement patching on Harrison Ave. between Mulford Rd. and Perryville Rd. will start the week of Sept. 22. The work is being done to prepare for a 2026 resurfacing project.

Harrison Ave. will be reduced to one lane for east and westbound traffic. The work is expected to be finished by Oct. 12.
