“Saturday Night Live” has announced the hosts and musical guests for the first three episodes of season 51.
Fresh off his film roles in “Happy Gilmore 2″ and “Caught Stealing,” Bad Bunny will serve as host during the “SNL” season 51 premiere on Saturday, Oct. 4. Doja Cat will be the episode’s musical guest. The lineup is a bit surprising, considering Bad Bunny has never served solely as host before. The rapper previously did double duty in October 2023 and had musical guest spots in February 2021 and May 2025.
The second episode of the season, which falls on Saturday, Oct.11, will be hosted by “SNL” alum Amy Poehler with musical guest Role Model . Poehler was an “SNL” cast member from 2001-2008 and served as a Weekend Update co-anchor from 2004-2008. She hasn’t been back to host
