Every night before the band launch into Cigarettes and Alcohol Noel and Liam Gallagher urge the fans to turn their back on the stage and 'do the Poznan' . For the uninitiated, the bizarre move is borrowed from the terraces of the brothers' beloved Manchester City .
Blues fans famously adopted the celebration after seeing supporters of the Polish club Lech Poznan do it during a 2010 Europa League tie. Ever since 'The Poznan' has become a regular sight at the Etihad.
And now Lech Poznan have written to Noel to thank Oasis for helping to 'spread the name of our city and team in such a remarkable way'. The club also gifted the songwriter a Poznan shirt with his name and number 12 on the back - to signify the
