Five of the Big Ten’s seven ranked teams are set to kick off conference play this week when the conference begins its largest slate of intra-league play this season.
The conference has garnered another ranking inside the Associated Press Top-25 with 11 of its 18 member schools remaining unbeaten. Top-ranked Ohio State, No. 2 Penn State, No. 6 Oregon and No. 9 Illinois all represent the conference at the top. Indiana follows at No. 19, as does No. 21 Michigan and new entry No. 25 Southern Cal. All but the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions are in action this week.
