Just 40 days before Saint Francis opens its men's basketball season, the Cougars have a head coach.

A month after longtime coach Chad LaCross resigned, Saint Francis and athletic director Mike McCaffrey announced the hire of Manchester head coach Nate Conley to lead the program.

Conley is a Fort Wayne native and Bishop Dwenger alumnus. He led Manchester's program for six seasons, compiling a record of 62-80, including 44-49 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
