CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person is dead following a shooting across from Romare Bearden Park in Charlotte.

Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed the shooting happened Thursday afternoon, Sept. 18, on Brevard Court in Uptown.

Viewer-submitted videos showed police cars lining the road near Brevard Court.

As of this article’s writing, WBTV was still working to learn whether any arrests had been made.
