GWAR have just launched their fall “Return of Gor Gor Tour” as they continue to celebrate their 40th anniversary as a band. Heavy Consequence recently caught up with front-thing Blöthar the Berserker to discuss the tour and much more.

The intergalactic barbarian met us up at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn, New York, where we asked him what the ride has been like for the past 40 years. “Bumpy, to say the least,” responded Blöthar. “Like a log flume or something. Just constantly plunging and rising, waiting for the next drop. It’s been a blast.”
