BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A group of citizens and educators is suing the Idaho Supreme Court over House Bill 93.

Hawley Troxell, a Boise-based firm, filed the lawsuit with the Idaho Supreme Court, according to a press release. The firm represents nine petitioners, including an educator from Burley Junior High School and the “Mormon Women for Ethical Government.”

The suit asks for a Writ of Probation against the state’s new law.

House Bill 93 created a tax credit voucher, giving families a refundable tax credit up to $5,000 per student or $7,500k for those who have a disability.
